Smart Yields has been accepted into the 2017 cohort of Energy Excelerator, which funds innovative startups to create a 100% clean energy future.

Smart Yields joins 12 other companies in the cohort, which focus on innovations ranging from aerial spectroscopy for farmers to a new CO2 conversion technology, according to the Energy Excelerator announcement. These companies join a portfolio of more than 50 companies who are effecting change across the energy and infrastructure systems.

Each year, Energy Excelerator selects a cohort of 12-15 companies to provide funding to and open up a world-class network of investors, customers, and experienced CEOs to help them succeed. The program invests in energy, water, transportation, agriculture, and cybersecurity companies (up to $1 million USD per company) and operates as a non-profit program.
